“I am impressed by how my alma mater, Jacksonville State University, is involved in so many ways with life in Northeast Alabama. Our capital campaign, like my university, has something for everyone and offers another way for friends and alumni to become involved with making a difference for Jacksonville State University’s future.

Mr. Baker

"As an Alabama businessman, I understand the importance of a university degree. Jacksonville State University plays a key role in shaping Alabama’s future by producing well-educated leaders to guide our state. Northeast Alabama is fortunate to have an institution where faculty members are known for their support for students and who are truly interested in their future. JSU needs our help in growing Alabama’s next generation of leaders. And the university’s capital campaign will make that possible by ensuring that the excellence continues."

Mr. Hale
(1970) former president and CEO of
CancerFax Corp. in Carlsbad, California.

Like many of you, JSU provided the educational background that has allowed me to pursue the dreams and goals that have been important in my life. In my experience as a biotech entrepreneur, it has been apparent that economists have it right when they say that universities are the economic engines that drive the communities in which they are located. Jacksonville State University has long been a significant contributor to the economy of the North Alabama region. The capital campaign at JSU is vital to making sure that JSU is able to provide the educational experience challenges of an ever-changing global marketplace.
