The JSU Foundation was established to build a broad base of financial support for the University's programs and services. Leading alumni and business and civic leaders from Northeast Alabama and from throughout the United States serve the Foundation as its Board of Directors. The Board is charged with the management and allocation of the Foundation's assets as well as the raising of private support through a variety of programs. The JSU Foundation has 41 directors (30 public, 5 faculty, 1 permanent, and five Ex-Officio) [the JSU President, JSU Vice President for Institutional Advancement, JSU Foundation Treasurer, JSU Director of Alumni Affairs, and the JSU SGA President].
